Request for Proposals for Older Americans Act and Older Californians Act Programs

The Area Agency on Aging Serving Napa and Solano (AAA), the state designated agency responsible for developing and coordinating services for seniors in Napa and Solano Counties, is requesting proposals to provide services to residents of Napa and Solano Counties who are 60 years of age or older, as well as functionally impaired older adults and caregivers. The contract period for service delivery will be July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018. Any organization, public or private, is invited to submit an application to provide services as described in the RFP. The proposal due date is March 31, 2017.

Potential Applicants/Organizations must attend one of the two Mandatory Bidder’s Conference/Applicant Workshops. The first workshop is on February 28, 2017 in Vallejo (AAOA office – 400 Contra Costa St. 10am -12pm), with the second workshop on March 1, 2017 in Napa (CSOA Facility – 650 Imperial Way 1-3pm). At this meeting, staff of the AAA will explain the RFP process and answer any and all questions related to the proposal application.

All contracts awarded under the RFP for the first year (July 1, 2017 through June 30, 2018) are subject to renewal for three additional one-year periods based on satisfactory performance and contract compliance. Actual contract awards are contingent on the availability and receipt of funds from Federal and State government sources, and are subject to the approval of the AAA Board of Directors.
