The Napa/Solano Area Agency on Aging is governed by a seven-member Oversight Board that is responsible for providing advice and review of AAA activities and reports; approval of contracts, grants, RFP awards and conducting at least one annual public hearing.
The Advisory Council on Aging advocates for the needs of older adults. The ACOA makes recommendations to the Oversight Board and works with the community and N/S AAA staff to meet the requirements of the Older Americans Act and Older Californians Act.
